A business development executive is a manager tasked with the job of helping his or her business grow and therefore, an high-level sales professional. His or her priority is to assist the company acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones. In this role the business development executive will report to the CEO of our Company and also manage the recruiting team.

What you’ll be doing

Identifying new sales leads and pitching products and services;

Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers;

Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives in Portugal and Europe;

Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events;

Preparing presentations and sales displays;

Developing quotes, proposals and negotiating;

Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met;

Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

What we need to see

Socially adept;

Good with numbers and attention to detail;

Able to provide quality leadership;

Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems;

In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events;

The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines;

Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations;

Excellent time management and organisation.

Ways to stand out from the crowd

Bachelor’s degree in Management or Economics;

A minimum of 5 years Human Resources client-facing in Portugal;

Strong business insight and understanding of cross-functional work;

A digital marketing and social media strong user.
